TO ROME WITH LOVE, is a multi-layered story about several people in Rome and the wild and crazy mishaps that happen, all in the name of love.
Allen will be starring in the film alongside: Roberto Benigni, Jesse Eisenberg, Alec Baldwin, Penelope Cruz, Judy Davis, Greta Gerwig, and Ellen Page.

The story revolves around Ginsberg and the early years of the Beat movement. More specifically, it tells the story of the murder of David Kammerer. Who was associated with a close group of poet friends. Comprised of; Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac, and Lucien Carr.
Carr gets into a fight with Kammerer and in a fit of rage, kills him. Then Carr spends the rest of the story, finding someone to help him get rid of the body and dealing with the repercussions of his actions.
The film co-stars; Ben Foster as William S. Burroughs, Jack Huston as Jack Kerouac, Dane DeHaan as Lucien Carr, and Michael C. Hall as David Kammerer.
